Sana’a Executive Offices Commemorate Martyrdom of Imam Ali and Battle of Badr

Sana'a: Several executive offices in Sana'a governorate organized a cultural event on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib and the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr, held under the slogan "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have won."

According to Yemen News Agency, the event brought together leadership from sectors including telecommunications, electricity, water, oil, and endowments, highlighting the historical convergence of these two pivotal Islamic milestones. Speakers emphasized that the Battle of Badr served as a decisive turning point between truth and falsehood, establishing the foundations of justice and dignity against tyranny and ignorance.

Addressing the martyrdom of Imam Ali, the Director of the Endowments Office, Abdullah Amer, underscored the importance of emulating the Imam's courage, asceticism, and administrative wisdom. He specifically pointed to the Imam's celebrated letter to Malik al-Ashtar as a definitive blueprint for successful governance and the establishment of a state based on equity and virtue.
