Sana'a: The Youth and Sports Office in Shaoub district, the Capital Sana'a, has launched a football tournament at 30 November School Stadium in celebration of the Prophet's birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament will feature 600 players in the juniors, cadets, and youth categories, with group-stage matches starting next Sunday. District Youth and Sports Office Director Mohammed Abu Askar stated that the event is part of the office's annual activities to commemorate the Prophet's birthday and promote sports in the district.
The opening was attended by Deputy Director Maher al-Shaosh, team officials, and social figures, highlighting the community's support for the event.
