Sana’a Meeting Discusses Development Plans for National Institute of Administrative Sciences

Sana'a: A meeting chaired by the Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, who also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute of Administrative Sciences (NIAS), focused on the draft document addressing the administrative and institutional development of the institute. The meeting aimed to outline strategies and improvements for the institute's future operations.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the participation of several key figures, including the Dean of NIAS, Dr. Mohammed Al-Qatabari, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Monitoring Affairs, Abdullah Haydar, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for Budget Affairs, Fuad Al-Kumaim, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Budget Affairs, Abduljalil Al-Dar. They concentrated on formulating arrangements to implement the training and qualification program matrix for administrative leaders within the state. Additionally, discussions addressed potential funding sources for these initiatives.

Following the meeting, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, along with Dr. Mohammed Al-Qatabari and other officials, inspected the ongoing rehabilitation and maintenance work of NIAS's infrastructure. This inspection included educational and training halls, corridors, facilities, and the courtyard, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for future use.

The group also reviewed the preparations for the launch of the National E-Training Platform, a significant step toward enhancing digital learning capabilities. Furthermore, they assessed the progress of the ongoing training program for Civil Service Ministry staff in the International Computer Driving License (ICDL), which is currently being conducted at the institute.
