Sana'a: A meeting in the capital on Tuesday, chaired by Deputy Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development Nasser al-Mahdhar, discussed mechanisms for implementing the Code of Conduct and Work Ethics within the ministry and local authorities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Head of the Ministry's Code of Conduct Team Mohammed Al-Sanhani, Human Resources Director Jamal al-Sabri, Internal Audit Director Abdulrahman al-Hadi, Planning and Evaluation Director Mohammed Musad, and other concerned officials. Deputy Minister al-Mahdhar highlighted the importance of implementing directives issued by the Acting Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Local Administration and Development to activate the Code of Conduct within the ministry, the Secretariat, and governorates. He emphasized the need to raise awareness about the code's goals and contents in coordination with the central team at the Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development.
During the meeting, al-Mahdhar stressed the importance of engaging with and implementing initiatives issued by the central team. Mohammed al-Sanhani reviewed several initiatives planned as part of the practical implementation of the code, including the initiative titled 'I Dedicate My Work to Every Day,' which aligns with directives from Revolutionary Leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. Al-Sanhani also outlined upcoming initiatives aimed at strengthening the principles and values contained in the code, rationalizing spending, reinforcing loyalty to God and the Prophet Muhammad, and consolidating faith-based identity.
