Sana’a: On this day, July 18, historical records document a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition, resulting in significant loss of life and destruction across multiple governorates. The aggression targeted infrastructure and civilian homes, leaving a trail of devastation and casualties over the years.

According to Yemen News Agency, on July 18, 2015, airstrikes led to the death of two women and injuries to three others in Wadi al-Habal in Saqayn district, Saada Governorate. The attacks also damaged the al-Talh area, the government complex in Mustaba district, and several locations in Aden, Taiz, and Marib governorates. The aggression continued with further attacks on civilian and government sites in Lahj and Marib governorates.

In 2016, coalition airstrikes killed five civilians and injured 14 others in Al-Mokha, Taiz governorate. The aggression targeted commercial and residential areas in Jawf, Marib, and Sana'a governorates, while mercenaries fired artillery shells on homes and farms in various districts.

The aggression intensified on July 18, 2017, with airstrikes killing over 20 civilians, including women and children, in Mawza' district, Taiz governorate. The coalition conducted air raids in Marib, Jawf, and Saada governorates, while artillery shelling targeted multiple residential areas.

By 2018, the aggression had resulted in the deaths of eight civilians and injuries to five others in Saada governorate. Saudi missile and artillery shelling caused extensive damage in Baqim, Razih, and Shada districts, impacting residential and agricultural areas.

On July 18, 2019, a missile strike in Dhale'a Governorate injured a civilian, while coalition aircraft destroyed homes in Saada Governorate, causing widespread property damage. The aggression continued with airstrikes in Hajjah and Hodeida governorates, targeting residential neighborhoods and infrastructure.

The violence persisted in 2020 with incidents of civilian casualties and extensive shelling in Hodeida and Marib governorates. In 2021, the aggression led to civilian fatalities in Saada Governorate and significant air raids in Marib and Hodeida governorates.

In 2022, mine explosions and cluster bombs left by the coalition killed and injured civilians in Hodeida and Sana'a governorates. The aggression included air raids across multiple districts and artillery shelling targeting civilian areas.

On July 18, 2023, the aggression's spy aircraft launched raids on Taiz and Hodeida governorates, while mercenaries continued to shell various areas with artillery and live ammunition, perpetuating the cycle of violence and destruction.
