Sana'a: The Sanaa-based Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor organized on Wednesday a rally in response to directives issued by the leader of the Ansarullah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi. The rally was held under the slogan "Readiness and Mobilization to End the Aggression and Blockade".
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the event, attended by several officials of the ministry, affirmed their commitment to implementing the directives of the leadership and taking measures aimed at restoring Yemen's rights and resources and ending the aggression and blockade imposed on the country. The rally expressed support for the remarks delivered by Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Houthi on the occasion of the Islamic New Year and the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's Hijra.
It reaffirmed the participants' position toward what it described as the enemies of Islam and humanity, naming the United States and Israeli occupation, and stressed the responsibility of Muslims to confront oppression and cooperate in resisting it. The rally also reiterated readiness to respond to any future escalation involving the United States or Israel in the region, including developments related to Gaza or other areas associated with the so-called "axis of resistance."
The rally called for greater unity among groups aligned with the Resistance Axis and congratulated Iran's leadership and people on a victory over the United States and the occupation. Participants in the rally further declared a high level of official and public readiness to work toward ending the conflict, occupation, and blockade, with the stated objective of achieving full independence, restoring access to national resources, and strengthening Yemen's sovereignty and economic development.
They also called for broader public mobilization through training programs, awareness activities, demonstrations, tribal gatherings, and other mobilization efforts. The rally reaffirmed support for Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and expressed readiness to implement all available options.
In addition, it called on Yemenis in both northern and southern parts of the country to unite in efforts aimed at ending foreign presence, restoring national resources, and achieving independence and sovereignty.
