Sana'a: The General Directorate of Initiatives in Sana'a province has officially received the completed maintenance project for the Naqil al-Haroura road in the al-Hajreen, al-Hesn district. This project was successfully implemented by the Eastern Sector Agricultural Development Association.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project was initiated by the community and supported by the local authority. It involved constructing retaining walls to safeguard the road against landslides and rockfalls, as well as cleaning culverts and water drains. The construction used 31 cubic meters of jam stone and 171 square meters of dressed stone with finishing. The total cost of the project exceeded 11 million riyals, with 8.288 million riyals funded by the local authority and 2.762 million riyals contributed by the community.
