Sana'a: Large gatherings were held across Sana'a Governorate Friday, reaffirming continued support for Arab and Islamic causes. Participants in the rallies, which took place in villages and districts throughout the governorate, emphasized ongoing mobilization efforts, strengthening readiness, and confronting any threats aimed at Yemen's sovereignty and unity. They also reaffirmed their steadfast support for the people of Gaza and all of Palestine.
According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued during the gatherings condemned the continuation of Israeli attacks and the resulting large-scale casualties among Palestinians in Gaza, noting that the death toll has risen to 70,125, with 171,015 injured since the start of the conflict. The statement denounced measures that worsen the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the West Bank, including restrictions on aid entry, destruction of buildings, and the mistreatment of detainees-actions the statement described as violations of agreements and international commitments.
It also condemned Israeli strikes in Lebanon, actions in Syria, and threats toward Egypt and Jordan, while accusing Saudi and Emirati forces of undermining Yemen's unity and supporting operations in Hadramout and other areas. The residents of Sana'a Governorate reaffirmed their support for Gaza, Hezbollah, and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world, expressing full readiness for any future confrontation should leadership directives be issued.
The statement called on Yemeni tribes to continue impactful demonstrations, expand participation in general military mobilization programs, and support missile, air, and naval capabilities, emphasizing the continuation of general mobilization. It further urged everyone to strengthen their faith, uphold unity, and contribute to all efforts-material and moral-that enhance resilience and stability, stressing that safeguarding internal security is a collective responsibility.
