Sana'a: The Capital Secretariat organized a ceremonial event on Monday to mark the Martyrs' Anniversary for the year 1447 AH and to honor the families of its employees who were martyred. During the event, Capital Secretary Dr. Hamoud 'Obbad emphasized the honor bestowed upon martyrs by God for their sacrifice and highlighted the significance of striving and sacrificing in the path of God, especially in confronting tyrants and oppressors.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. 'Obbad noted that Yemen, under the leadership of Sayyid Abdulmalik Badruddin al-Houthi, has gained global respect and influence due to its role in supporting the people of Gaza and the Palestinian cause. He mentioned that Yemen has taken a leading stance alongside the Palestinian people over the past two years, while the world has been inactive in aiding the people of Gaza facing severe crimes and Zionist extermination.
Dr. 'Obbad also pointed out that Yemen has produced a generation of martyrs on the path to Al-Quds, including the Prime Minister of Change and Development, several of his ministerial colleagues, and the General Chief of Staff, the jihadi martyr, Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Ghamari.
The event was attended by members of the administrative board, including Hamoud al-Naqeeb, Sharaf al-Hadi, Adel al-Aqari, and several deputy directors. Deputy Director of Public Relations Ali al-Saraji, speaking on behalf of the martyrs' families, stated that martyrs hold a revered place in the hearts of Yemenis. He emphasized that their sacrifices were for the homeland's security and stability, resulting in Yemen's strong position and advanced deterrent capabilities.
