Sana’a Unit Triumphs Over Hadramawt Union with 4-2 Victory in Yemeni Premier League

Sana'a: Sana'a Unit achieved an important victory over Hadramawt Union, winning 4-2 in the match held this afternoon at the Olympic Stadium in Say'un, as part of the sixth round of the Yemeni Premier League (First Division) football competition. Sana'a Unit's four goals were scored by Qasim Al-Sharafi, who netted twice, along with contributions from Mohammed Hashim and Abdulrahman Al-Shami. Raed Badawi scored both goals for Hadramawt Union.

According to Yemen News Agency, with this win, Sana'a Unit raised its points tally to 13, temporarily taking the lead, pending the results of the remaining matches of the sixth round. Hadramawt Union's points remained at 3, placing them in 12th position.

At the 22 May Stadium in Ibb, Ibb Union and their visitors Fahman Abyan drew 1-1. Fahman took the lead with a penalty kick scored by Wajdi Al-Rateel, while Elyas Habhab equalized for Ibb Union. Fahman raised its points tally to 7, placing them in 9th position, while Ibb Union dropped to second-to-last place with 2 points.

The matches of the sixth round will continue on Saturday afternoon with two fixtures: the first will see Shabab Hadramawt face Shabab Al-Bayda at Baradem Stadium in Mukalla, and the second will bring Al-Yarmouk together with Salam Al-Ghurfah at Al-Dharafi Stadium in Sana'a.
