Sana'a: In a bold move to assert its sovereignty, the Yemeni Armed Forces issued an operational warning to the Saudi regime following an incident involving Saudi warplanes. The Yemeni forces successfully thwarted an attempt by these warplanes to prevent an Iranian civilian aircraft from landing at Sana'a International Airport. This action, according to Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, signified a clear warning to the Saudi regime against any future violations of Yemeni airspace or acts of aggression.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the successful operation at 5 a.m. on Friday. The operation involved confronting a formation of Saudi warplanes attempting to block the landing of an Iranian aircraft carrying over 200 passengers, including stranded individuals and patients. The airport, under blockade for nearly 11 years due to the aggression coalition, has been a focal point of tension.

The military statement revealed that the Yemeni forces responded decisively by deploying air defense missiles, compelling the Saudi warplanes to withdraw from Yemeni airspace. This action marks the beginning of a new phase, emphasizing that the Yemeni people will not tolerate the continued US-Saudi blockade indefinitely and are prepared to take legitimate actions to end the siege.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated their readiness to act on directives from Sayyid Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, emphasizing their preparedness to lift the blockade and end foreign presence on Yemeni soil. They stressed that the unjust blockade on Sana'a International Airport, a crucial link for over twenty million Yemenis to the outside world, must end.

In a bid to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, the Armed Forces announced the continuation of flights between Sana'a and Tehran, regardless of potential repercussions. They urged the Saudi regime to reassess its actions and warned against future aggression.

The statement also expressed gratitude towards the Islamic Republic of Iran for its initiative to break the blockade on Sana'a International Airport and for facilitating the transport of patients and delegates attending the funeral of Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

The Armed Forces' message also called on Yemeni citizens to maintain general mobilization and enhance combat readiness to end the aggression and blockade. The statement underscored the unity and preparedness of the Yemeni leadership, population, and armed forces, signaling a resolute stance against future threats.
