Sana'a: The General Administrations of Student Housing and Charitable Housing, in collaboration with student committees, organized a cultural evening at Sana'a University on Tuesday to commemorate the annual Martyr Anniversary. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices of martyrs who have played a significant role in confronting tyranny and defending the oppressed.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Ali Amer spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of remembering the values and sacrifices of the martyrs. He urged students to adopt the principles of dignity, resilience, and justice that the martyrs represented. Dr. Amer's remarks highlighted the enduring influence of these principles in shaping a just society.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazan, Director of the Orphan Care House, also addressed the gathering, stating that the culture of martyrdom continues to be a source of strength for the nation. He noted that the awareness and engagement of university students reflect the lasting impact of the martyrs' sacrifices on the community.
