Al-bayda: The Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Al-Bayda Governorate initiated a field campaign on Tuesday to oversee the prices of goods and foodstuffs in markets, commercial establishments, and shops throughout the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, Ahmed Al-Tahiri, Director of the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment, stated that the campaign is in line with directives from the Ministry leadership and local authorities. The initiative aims to bolster regulatory oversight and safeguard consumers from spoiled or expired goods available in the market.

Al-Tahiri underscored the campaign's role in ensuring adherence to established prices in the markets and addressing violations such as the failure to display price lists or the sale of expired products. He affirmed that stringent actions would be taken against violators based on commercial activity regulations and circulars from the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment.

He further mentioned that the monitoring of prices and enforcement against violations will be ongoing, with an emphasis on compliance with health standards. The campaign also includes awareness programs highlighting the importance of boycotting products from countries and companies supporting the Israeli entity.
