Sana'a: A training workshop was held in Sana'a province focusing on how to prepare strategic plans for the work of the Women's Development Department in the districts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop was organized by the General Department of Women's Development and aimed to train 13 women on developing programs to raise women's awareness and encourage their economic participation. It also covered preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the efforts of Women's Development Offices.
Women's Development Directors from the districts received training on activating community initiatives at the local level and preparing studies to understand the situation of women in rural areas to propose suitable projects.
Amat Allah al-Mahtouri, Director of the Women's Department in the province, stated that the workshop is part of their plans to build the capacities of women working in the department, especially in rural areas. She appreciated the province's leadership's support for developing women's work and enhancing their role in various fields.
