Saudi Forces Accused of Targeting Civilians in Yemen’s Saada

Saada:The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has accused Saudi forces of committing a massacre in the Al-Tawilah area of Sahar District, Yemen. The attack targeted a citizen's home and resulted in the deaths of 10 people and injuries to 23 others, most of whom were women and children, according to preliminary figures.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry's statement highlighted that the perpetrator of this incident is the same entity that declared the entire city of Saada a military target in May 2015. The Ministry criticized the international community's silence on the matter, suggesting that if such crimes were committed elsewhere, there would be significant global condemnation.

The statement further alleged that Saudi financial influence has led to a lack of international response, prioritizing political and economic interests over humanitarian principles and international law. The Ministry reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to securing its rights and ending the Saudi-imposed aggression and blockade that has lasted 12 years.
