Sana'a:The official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, has confirmed that Saudi forces targeted an Indian yacht near Zuqar Island. The yacht reportedly had 14 Indian nationals on board at the time of the incident.

According to Yemen News Agency, Brigadier General Saree announced that the Yemeni Armed Forces are actively engaged in a rescue operation for the passengers of the yacht. He indicated that more information will be provided as the situation develops.

Brigadier General Saree criticized the actions of the Saudi forces, describing them as reckless and a threat to international navigation in the Red Sea. He called upon the international community to intervene and halt what he termed as rash actions by the Saudi enemy.
