Dhamar: On August 26, 2025, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Muftah, along with Dhamar Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti and Shura Council member Hassan Abdulrazzaq, inspected several offices and agencies in Dhamar. They reviewed operations at the Public Works Office, including central labs for construction and asphalt testing, and various administrative departments. They praised efforts to improve administrative and technical work, streamline citizen services, enforce building laws, and limit random construction. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized doubling efforts to enhance performance and service quality, while the governor noted these achievements reflect local authorities' commitment to providing a model administrative service.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Public Works Director, Eng. Moath Al-Shoukani, briefed them on current projects, performance development plans, and the acquisition of modern equipment for emergency and road works. Muftah and Al-Bukhaiti also inspected the local branch of the General Authority for Lands, Survey, and Urban Planning. They reviewed workflow, discipline, and administrative efficiency across departments handling land, legal affairs, registration, finance, planning, and human resources. Branch Director Eng. Abdulghani Al-Dailami highlighted efforts to automate services, manage real estate transactions electronically, and maintain comprehensive databases and urban planning maps. The Deputy Prime Minister stressed expanding citizen services and preserving state property.
Additionally, Muftah, Health and Environment Minister Dr. Ali Sheban, and Governor Al-Bukhaiti visited the Dhamar Disabled Association School to review educational conditions and student needs. They directed the Health Ministry to provide required equipment and support for treatable disabilities. They also visited Thulaya Model School for Technology and Applied Sciences to review educational facilities, laboratories, and the central electronic library project.
The inspection team included officials from the health sector, seismic monitoring center, education sector, and public works office.
