Scholars and Preachers Convene for Mawlid Celebrations in Azal District

Azal district: The Guidance Sector in Azal District, Capital Secretariat, organized an expanded meeting of scholars, preachers, and religious guides to mark the Prophet Muhammad's birthday and review the latest developments, as part of preparations for commemorating the occasion.

According to Yemen News Agency, District Director Mohammed Al-Ghalisi emphasized the important role of scholars and preachers in promoting faith-based identity, values, morals, and principles brought by the Prophet. He highlighted the need to raise awareness of the significance of the religious occasion and make thorough preparations to commemorate it in a manner that reinforces adherence to the Prophet and the Holy Quran.

In a speech delivered on behalf of Azal's scholars and preachers, Abdul-Kafi Al-Shami emphasized their responsibility to enlighten society about the Prophet's approach, biography, virtues, and positions. Cultural activist Al-Ezzi Rajeh highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday and the importance of broad participation in related activities.

Meanwhile, Azal District witnessed a number of Mawlid evenings attended by Capital Secretariat Undersecretary Dr. Qanef Al-Marani and other dignitaries. Al-Marani underscored the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in strengthening faith-based identity and praised the strong community participation.

Al-Ghalisi and Mobilization Official Abdullah Al-Buhairi noted that the evenings reflected loyalty to the Prophet and renewed the pledge to follow his righteous path. They called on everyone to continue expressing joy and actively participating in all preparatory and central events.

Speeches and activities held by residents of various neighborhoods emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion and emulating the Prophet's values, morals, and principles of solidarity, compassion, and benevolence.
