Sanaa: Hodeida Deputy Governor for City Affairs, Ali Kabari, on Tuesday launched the distribution of school uniforms and backpacks to students at the School for Students with Physical Disabilities, operated by the Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Physical Disabilities, with support from the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities. During the event, Kabari stressed the importance of supporting persons with disabilities by ensuring their access to education and providing the resources needed to help them overcome challenges, secure their future, and participate actively in society.
According to Yemen News Agency, Kabari praised the efforts of the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities and the implementing association, describing the provision of school uniforms and backpacks as an important step toward improving students' educational environment and encouraging them to continue their studies. Kabari also called on charitable organizations and institutions to strengthen support for the school to ensure the continued care and educational opportunities for students with physical disabilities.
For their part, Association Chairman Mahmoud Al-Hassani and the school director Mansour Al-Khudhami said the distribution is part of the fund's ongoing efforts to support students with physical disabilities by providing essential educational supplies and easing the financial burden on their families. They expressed appreciation for the support provided by the Fund for the Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities in making the project possible.
