Ibb: Ibb University honored its scientific teams that won the first three places in the competitive scientific competitions in medicine and engineering organized by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research with the participation of 25 public and private universities.
According to Yemen News Agency, at the ceremony, Ibb Governor Abdul Wahid Salah praised the enlightening role played by Ibb University in building generations and supplying the labor market with qualified cadres in various disciplines. He emphasized the importance of supporting the infrastructure projects at Ibb University because of their importance in advancing the educational process.
For his part, the President of the University, Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili, considered the success achieved by Ibb University in competitive scientific competitions as an incentive to achieve more successes in various fields and harness the available resources to provide the necessary needs to develop theoretical and applied performance. He praised the efforts of the provincial leadership in supporting the stalled infrastructure projects. He praised the efforts of the leaders, staff and students of the Colleges of Medicine, Health Sciences and Engineering, the General Department of Student Activities, Youth Welfare, and the scientific teams that distinguished themselves in the competitive scientific competitions.
At the end, the scientific teams that won the first places in therapeutic nutrition, dietetics, human medicine, architecture, and civil engineering were honored with shields and certificates of appreciation.
