Sana'a: Abs district of Hajjah governorate witnessed on Saturday a grand scout parade and the closing ceremony of the summer camp activities for the year 1447 AH in Tihama region, under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad." The event highlighted the spiritual and physical development of the youth participants, as well as their commitment to cultural and religious values.
According to Yemen News Agency, the scout parade was attended by prominent figures including governor Hilal al-Sufi and several of the governorate's undersecretaries. The parade featured educational displays that demonstrated the students' spiritual maturity, physical fitness, and discipline.
During the parade, students carried copies of the Quran and banners expressing solidarity with Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. They also voiced their opposition to the Zionist-American agenda and showed support for the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The participants condemned the act of Quran burning by Jake Lang in Michigan, urging Arab and Islamic nations to respond firmly to such provocations.
The event underscored the youth's awareness of the threats and conspiracies against the Islamic nation, reaffirming their dedication to resist aggression and support Al-Aqsa Mosque. Governor al-Sufi congratulated the students on their educational achievements and emphasized their role as the future generation of Yemen, equipped with Quranic culture and the resolve to challenge tyrants.
The Governor praised the efforts of educators in the summer courses, who are committed to cultivating a conscious generation shielded from harmful ideologies. Ali al-Qutayb, head of the education sector, acknowledged parents' involvement in ensuring their children receive education rooted in faith and moral values.
The event also showcased segments that emphasized noble morals and a responsible spirit of jihad, aiming to raise awareness of colonial schemes targeting the nation. The activities served as a testament to the directives of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who values these courses for their role in protecting youth from dangerous ideologies.
