Summer Courses in Arhab District Concluded with Celebratory Ceremony

Arhab: The closing ceremony for the 1447 AH summer courses was held on Saturday in the Arhab district, highlighting the role of the programs in developing students' educational, cultural, and religious skills. The event was organized by the Executive Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, Public Mobilization, and the Sheikh Mohsen Abu Nashitan Centers.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the ceremony, Shamsan Abu Nashitan emphasized the importance of summer courses in nurturing students' talents and enhancing their abilities across various fields. He noted the strong participation and interaction witnessed this year, which provided students with religious, cultural, athletic, and practical knowledge.

Abu Nashitan congratulated the students for strengthening their connection with the Holy Quran and commended organizers and supervisors for their efforts in developing students' creativity and useful skills. He also condemned an attack on the Holy Quran by 'an American criminal,' calling it a serious offense against Islamic sacred values and an act that provokes Muslims worldwide.

The ceremony was attended by Sana'a Undersecretary Fadl al-Qaseer and Ahmed Majli, who highlighted the role of summer programs in reinforcing faith-based identity and Quranic culture among students. Officials mentioned that the courses also help discover students' talents and protect them from harmful ideas and cultural influences.

Arhab District Director Khaled al-Uqaidah and Sheikh Abu Nashitan Centers Director Fadl Abu Nashitan praised the efforts of organizing committees, saying the successful implementation of the courses was reflected in the high level of discipline and preparation demonstrated during the closing ceremony. The event concluded with student performances featuring Quran memorization, recitation, and religious chanting, attended by educational, security, and community leaders.
