Second-Round Basic Education Exams Commence in Hodeida

Hodeida: The second-round exams for students pursuing the Basic Education Certificate for the academic year 1446 AH commenced today across Hodeida governorate. A total of 3,043 students, both male and female, are participating in these exams at 23 examination centers situated in various districts.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Head of the Educational Sector in the governorate, Omar Bahr, conducted an inspection of several examination centers, including the Martyr Al-Sammad Center in the al-Hali district, al-Zubairi Center in the al-Mina district, and Omar bin al-Khattab Center in the al-Hawak district. On the first day of exams, students were tested on the Holy Qur'an and Islamic Education.

Bahr received briefings from the examination center heads about the organizational procedures and the mechanisms implemented to ensure discipline and oversight during the exams. He highlighted the significance of the second-round exams, noting that they provide a crucial chance for students who did not pass one or two subjects in the first round. He stressed the Ministry's commitment to supporting these students in continuing their educational journey and progressing to secondary school alongside their peers.
