Bani al-harith: The Eastern and Western security districts of Bani Al-Harith, along with their police stations, held a celebratory event on Wednesday to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed's birth. The gathering was attended by several notable figures, including Shura Council member Adel Al-Hanbasi, Sanaa Deputy Mayor Yahya Jameel, Bani Al-Harith District Director Hamad bin Rakan, Coast Guard Training Director Brigadier General Hussein Fadhah, and Eastern Security District Director Colonel Samir Abu Ali.
According to Yemen News Agency, Colonel Majed Al-Hamli, Director of the Moral Guidance Department at Sana'a Security, emphasized the importance of commemorating the occasion and drawing on its spiritual and educational significance. He highlighted the need to strengthen the connection with Prophet Mohammed and noted Yemenis' distinctive observance of the Prophet's Birthday. This year's celebrations occur as Yemen continues its confrontation with the blockade and aggression.
Ragheb Abu Ali, representative of the General Mobilization in Sana'a, stated that the occasion reflects love and loyalty to the Prophet and adherence to his message. He stressed the deep-rooted relationship between the Yemeni people and the Prophet and called for broad participation from Bani Al-Harith residents in the main celebration at Al-Sabeen Square.
Western Security District Director Colonel Daifallah Al-Khatib mentioned that the occasion represents an opportunity to strengthen faith-based identity, unity, and adherence to the Prophet's example. It also promotes compassion, solidarity, cooperation, and good deeds among the community.
The event featured poems, chants, and religious hymns expressing joy over the Prophet's birth, with the presence of security personnel, local officials, tribal sheikhs, and social figures.
