Hodeida: A cultural evening was held in the Al-Afrad district of Al-Zaidiyah District in Hodeida Governorate to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, Major General Fadel Al-Dhayani, Commander of the Northern Axis and Head of the General Mobilization for the Northern Districts, highlighted the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. He described it as an important religious and educational milestone that instills values of steadfastness, selflessness, and devotion to the principles of the Noble Messenger among Yemenis.
He emphasized that the widespread celebration sends a strong message of adherence to the Prophet Muhammad's approach, signifying the Yemeni people's determination to preserve their identity and faith against any external threats. Major General Al-Dhayani further explained that the event serves as a message of defiance to adversaries and a pledge of loyalty to the Prophet, with Yemenis committed to following his path of sacrifice until national victory and glory are realized.
Muhammad Omar, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the district, stated that the celebration symbolizes the community's unity and alignment with the Prophet's values. He noted the large attendance as a testament to the Zaidi people's love for the Prophet and their commitment to their faith identity. Omar emphasized that the occasion reinforces Yemenis' dedication to the values imparted by Muhammad in both national and faith-based contexts, asserting that district residents will actively participate in upcoming central events in the governorate.
The event, attended by the district's General Mobilization Officer, Idris Al-Hashaibri, along with several executive office directors, mobilization delegates, and social figures, featured a poem and an expressive anthem.
