China: A meeting in Al Hodeidah Governorate, chaired by Governor Abdullah Atefi, focused on the comprehensive security plan and service readiness at checkpoints, tourist beaches, and public facilities during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the Governorate Security Director Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, his deputy Colonel Sari Al-Maghribi, and Director of the Security and Intelligence Branch Brigadier Hassan Soma'a. Governor Atefi emphasized the importance of maintaining public tranquility and stability, insisting on the strict implementation of the approved security plan.
The Governor called for full preparedness to welcome visitors to the governorate, highlighting the need for warm hospitality that reflects the authentic values of Tihama's people. He instructed executive offices to collaborate with security agencies to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for citizens during the Eid holidays.
Security Director Al-Jaradi underlined the significance of heightened readiness, vigilance, and security awareness across all sectors. He assured that all suspicious movements would be monitored closely and any threats to public security would be addressed promptly.
He emphasized the necessity of teamwork and enhanced coordination among security, military, and civilian bodies. He also stressed the importance of public awareness campaigns, utilizing materials related to espionage cell confessions to educate and protect the community.
Al-Jaradi also addressed public services, stressing the importance of maintaining cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and resolving blocked sewage network issues to ensure a healthy environment.
Deputy Security Director Al-Maghribi provided an overview of the security and traffic deployment plan during the Eid holiday. This includes the distribution of patrols and personnel throughout the city, parks, public gardens, and other key areas to manage traffic and facilitate transportation.
Alaa Jahaf, Deputy Director of the Health and Environment Office, outlined the health sector's preparedness, detailing the distribution of ambulances and on-duty medical teams at strategic points to ensure public safety.
Additionally, a representative of the Coast Guard Forces reviewed the marine security plan, stressing the importance of following safety instructions and warnings at beaches to prevent drowning accidents.
