Dhamar: Security personnel in Dhamar province organized a protest today denouncing the burning of copies of the Holy Quran, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people, and supporting the resistance fighters in Lebanon and Iran. The participants in the protest, led by the province's security director Brigadier Mohammed Al Mahdi and security unit commanders, raised slogans denouncing insults to Islamic sanctities and violations against Al Aqsa Mosque, affirming their rejection of acts aimed at inciting hatred and provoking the feelings of Muslims worldwide.
According to Yemen News Agency, they condemned an American extremist's burning of a copy of the Holy Quran, considering it a flagrant assault on the sanctities of the Islamic nation and a dangerous escalation that requires a unified stance from the peoples of the Islamic nation. A statement issued by the protest condemned the criminal act of burning a copy of the Holy Quran and the ongoing violations committed by the Zionists against Al Aqsa Mosque, affirming that the Yemeni people will not remain silent in the face of the insults and hostile campaigns against Islamic sanctities.
It called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to take serious action to support the Palestinian cause, continue boycott campaigns, and participate in marches and events denouncing Israeli and American practices against the nation and its sanctities. The statement stressed the importance of adhering to the Holy Quran and preserving the faith identity, warning against the soft war targeting younger generations.
On the sidelines of the protest, security personnel sent an Eid convoy of livestock in support of those stationed on the fronts of pride and heroism, within the framework of the fourth military region.
