Shabwah: Security sources have revealed that a number of United Arab Emirates officers stationed in Shabwah and Riyan have departed for Gaza to train mercenaries there to work on behalf of the Israeli enemy.

According to Yemen News Agency, the UAE officers' trip to Gaza aims to carry out the same tasks they perform in Yemen: managing mercenary forces in Gaza, beginning with recruitment, mobilization, then forming brigades and teams to take part in the Zionist enemy's war against the mujahideen in Gaza.

The sources indicated that these officers-who command several mercenary factions in Yemen, including the mercenaries of Tariq Afash-were nominated by the UAE leadership to go to Gaza for a 45-day period to train mercenaries there in modern warfare methods, including various types of unmanned aerial systems, to conduct security and military operations against resistance movements as the UAE has done in Sudan and Yemen.

The sources added that some of these officers are personnel serving with the Emirates Red Crescent. They also disclosed the presence of American officers in the occupied areas to assess the readiness of the mercenaries, which points to intentions for a new aggression against Yemen.
