Launch of Free Medical Camp in Sabir Al-Mawadim District Offers Vital Healthcare Services

Taiz: A free medical camp was inaugurated at 'Al-Adna' Health Center in Sabir Al-Mawadim District, Taiz Governorate, offering treatment for heart diseases, internal medicine, pediatrics, women's health, and obstetrics.

According to Yemen News Agency, over the course of three days, the camp will provide free medical consultations and treatment as part of the efforts by the Ministry of Health and Environment, the local authorities, and the governorate health office to enhance free medical services and alleviate citizens' suffering amid current circumstances, coinciding with the upcoming annual commemoration of Martyr Day 1447 AH.

During the inauguration, attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Junaid, Director of the Camps Department at the Ministry of Health and Environment, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ezzi, Director of the Health Office in the governorate, emphasized that organizing medical camps is part of implementing leadership directives, which give special attention to the health sector, especially in light of the ongoing aggression and blockade.

Al-Ezzi described the camp's launch as a step toward activating free healthcare services and facilitating citizens' access to medical care. He highlighted the participation of a group of specialized doctors and consultants in the camp, in addition to providing necessary medicines and medical supplies to deliver services at the highest efficiency.

He also stated that the Health Office will continue organizing such camps to meet increasing needs and urged citizens to take advantage of the medical services provided by the medical team.
