Capital city secretariat: The Seventy Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society in Capital City Secretariat organized a speech ceremony on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by prominent figures, including Hamoud Al-Naqeeb, Head of the Social Affairs Committee of Capital City Secretariat, and Dr. Ghassan Al-Madani, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs for Social Welfare. Dr. Al-Madani emphasized the Yemeni people's engagement in the celebration, underscoring their emotional and spiritual connection with the Prophet. He encouraged attendees to follow the Prophet's values and principles, and to resist campaigns aimed at undermining Islamic sanctities.
Saleh Al-Khawlani, a member of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, spoke on the occasion's significance, highlighting the Prophet's character and message as a source of inspiration. He stressed that the celebration serves as a spiritual milestone, promoting solidarity, brotherhood, and unity in facing challenges.
The ceremony, also attended by District Director Mohammed Al-Washli and Director of the Associations Department Nabil Rajeh, featured remarks from Mohammed Al-Sadiq, Secretary-General of the District Local Council. Al-Sadiq emphasized the importance of using the occasion to bolster social solidarity and advance cooperative development work. He urged participation in the central celebration at Al-Sabeen Square as an expression of reverence for the Prophet.
Tareq Hanash, Secretary of the Seventy Cooperative Society, highlighted the Noble Prophet's esteemed status and the significance of celebrating his birth. He discussed the society's achievements, including 553 initiatives across various fields aimed at improving district residents' livelihoods and supporting sustainable development efforts.
