Hajjah:A three-month sewing training course organized by the Noon Forum for Culture and Development has concluded, benefiting 10 women in Hajjah Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the course was designed to equip participants with sewing skills, enabling them to start small businesses or work from home.
Forum Chairwoman Khadija Sharaf Al-Din emphasized that the course underscores the forum's dedication to enhancing women's skills and promoting their economic empowerment. She highlighted that such training programs are essential for community service and sustainable development.
Al-Din also noted that empowering women with skills and knowledge strengthens families and communities. Vocational skills, she said, can generate new opportunities for work, production, and income. Moreover, the forum's support extends beyond training, focusing on building capacities, boosting self-confidence, and fostering greater self-reliance and economic independence among women.
