Sana'a: Mufti of Yemen Shamsuddin Sharaf al-Din and acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah attended on Thursday the closing ceremony of the 1447 AH academic year at the Sharia Secondary Schools in Sana'a province and the Capital Sana'a. The ceremony honored graduating students for completing their studies in Islamic sciences.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized the importance of linking knowledge with action, following the Prophet's teachings, and carrying the responsibility of spreading religious guidance and awareness. Sharaf al-Din urged graduates to uphold religious and moral duties, while Miftah highlighted the role of scholars in countering ignorance and guiding society.
Students at the ceremony pledged to continue their path of learning, uphold Islamic values, and serve their communities through knowledge, education, and participation in social and charitable initiatives. The event included speeches from school officials and graduates, praising teachers and reaffirming commitment to Quranic principles.
