Sanaa: Sheikh Ali Qirsha, Head of the Joint Committee for Addressing Prisons and Prisoners' Issues, representative of the Leader of the Revolution and President of the Supreme Political Council, has affirmed the continuation of efforts to release eligible prisoners and assist those in financial hardship.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Qirsha explained that the committee is continuing its work on this humanitarian issue and has made significant progress in recent days. Procedures are ongoing to gradually release those eligible for release or pardon, in coordination with judicial authorities and within the established framework.
He indicated that further releases from various governorates are expected in the coming days, in accordance with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, which will contribute to alleviating the suffering of families and strengthening family reunification efforts.
He called upon businessmen, philanthropists, and all people of goodwill to assist those in financial hardship who are unable to pay their outstanding debts, expressing his appreciation for the cooperation of the relevant authorities and all those who have contributed to the success of these humanitarian initiatives.
