Economy Acting Minister Inspects Construction Progress of Factory in Sa’ada

Sa'ada: The Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bashiri, visited an under-construction factory aimed at producing concentrates from agricultural inputs in Sa'ada Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Al-Bashiri, accompanied by the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry for Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Mohamed Qatran, assessed the ongoing construction works and the equipment of the factory. Al-Bashiri commended the private sector for aligning with government plans to localize industries by investing in projects that utilize locally sourced production inputs.

He highlighted the government's commitment to supporting industrial projects and operating factories by removing obstacles they may encounter. Furthermore, Al-Bashiri assured that the ministry will provide investors with all the privileges, exemptions, and guarantees as outlined in the Investment Law, protecting local production from dumping. This initiative is set to encourage investment in productive industries and advance efforts to localize industries.
