Sana'a: The US-Saudi-Emirati aggression launched a series of airstrikes on June 20, affecting several governorates and resulting in casualties, injuries, and significant damage to infrastructure and properties.
According to Yemen News Agency, on June 20, 2015, airstrikes in the Yusnam area of Baqim District in Saada Governorate led to the martyrdom of four citizens and injured others from the same family. The airstrikes destroyed the targeted home and several neighboring houses. In Sahar District, two women were martyred, and another was injured due to an airstrike. Additional raids in various areas caused damage to numerous homes.
The aggression continued in Marib Governorate, where airstrikes in Sirwah District resulted in the martyrdom of three women and two children, with five others injured. In Sana'a Governorate, four citizens from one family were martyred, and nine others were injured when airstrikes targeted Khalid bin Al-Walid Mosque and a nearby house. The attack also impacted Al-Samawi Mosque and several residences.
On June 20, 2016, the aggression aircraft targeted Al-Aqabah area in Al-Jawf Governorate, and mercenaries shelled homes and farms in Al-Ghail and Al-Matoon districts. Similar attacks were reported in Lahj and Taiz Governorates.
On June 20, 2017, an airstrike at Khamis Mustaba Market in Hajjah Governorate resulted in the martyrdom of a citizen. The aggression aircraft also launched attacks in several districts across Al-Hodeida, Dhamar, and Saada Governorates, targeting commercial areas and causing additional destruction.
On June 20, 2018, airstrikes in Saada Governorate's Al-Dhahir District resulted in four citizens, including women and children, being martyred, and six others injured. Extensive missile and artillery shelling damaged farms, homes, and roads in border districts. The aggression aircraft also targeted commercial shops and a truck in Al-Hodeida City, causing further casualties and damage.
The following year, on June 20, 2019, mercenaries shelled homes in Al-Hodeida Governorate, resulting in damage to properties in several districts. Saudi missile and artillery shelling in Saada Governorate's Razih District caused additional destruction.
On June 20, 2020, the aggression aircraft launched numerous airstrikes across Al-Bayda, Marib, Saada, and Hajjah Governorates. Mercenaries shelled areas in Al-Hodeida Governorate with artillery and gunfire.
A year later, on June 20, 2021, Saudi artillery shelling in Saada Governorate resulted in one martyr and injuries to three others. The aggression aircraft also conducted airstrikes in Marib and Al-Jawf Governorates. In Al-Hodeida Governorate, mercenaries established combat fortifications and reconnaissance aircraft dropped munitions.
On June 20, 2022, the aggressors continued shelling in Al-Hodeida Governorate, employing artillery and various types of gunfire to inflict further damage.
