Sana'a: Transport and Public Works Minister Muhammad Qahim inspected the process of relocating and distributing various departments and divisions within the ministry's headquarters, in line with the new organizational structure following the merger process. Accompanied by the Undersecretary for the Public Works Sector, Eng. Ali Rajah, and several sector officials and general directors, the Minister reviewed the progress of work in organizing and arranging the ministry building to accommodate changes introduced under the new structure.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Qahim emphasized the importance of accurately implementing all organizational procedures as approved by the technical committee overseeing the merger. This process is being carried out in coordination with the ministry's leadership to achieve the intended objectives and outcomes. The Minister urged all sector leaders and general department heads to facilitate the process, which would accelerate the implementation of related tasks.
The procedures are part of the efforts by the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Government of Change and Construction to enhance the performance of state institutions and achieve integration among them. This move aims to enable the institutions to effectively serve the citizens. Minister Qahim highlighted the importance of teamwork and acknowledged the responsibilities the ministry will undertake after the merger process is completed, urging everyone to support the accomplishment of various tasks.
Minister Qahim also noted that the Yemeni people, who have endured more than 11 years of aggression and blockade, deserve efforts to be maximized to improve institutional performance and enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
