Shu’oub District Hosts Commemorative Events for Prophet’s Birthday

Sanaa: Shu'oub District holds events to mark Prophet's birthday Shu'oub District in the Capital Secretariat held various evening gatherings and activities on Sunday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, with broad official and popular participation.

According to Yemen News Agency, residents of several neighborhoods organized cultural evenings celebrating the occasion, attended by local officials, community leaders, sheikhs, and social figures. Speakers emphasized drawing lessons and values from the Prophet's life, strengthening attachment to the Messenger of Allah, and following his example, while encouraging broad participation in the anniversary's activities.

They described the Prophet's birthday commemoration as an annual spiritual and educational occasion that renews the values of love and emulation of the Prophet and contributes to instilling authentic Islamic values in younger generations. The gatherings featured devotional chants celebrating the occasion, while awareness seminars were held in several neighborhood mosques. Educational activities were also organized by a number of schools in Shu'oub District.

A meeting was also held at the Martyr Al-Sammad Traffic Administration to discuss traffic awareness and participation in the Prophet's Birthday events, attended by traffic officials, officers, personnel, bus drivers, and other representatives. Community meetings, cleaning campaigns, and charitable initiatives were also carried out across Shu'oub District as part of social solidarity activities marking the occasion.
