Sanaa: Chairman of the Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidaroos on Saturday sent a congratulatory message to revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and to President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the blessed September 21 Revolution.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Aidaroos extended his highest congratulations and best wishes to the Leader of the Revolution, the president and members of the Political Council, the heads of the Parliament and Ministers, the judiciary, the leaders and members of the armed and security forces, those stationed on fronts of honor defending the homeland, and all the Yemeni people, as well as those supporting the Palestinian people, on this national occasion.
He noted that the September 21 Revolution emerged at a critical stage in Yemen's history, when the country was under foreign embassies' tutelage, led by the U.S. Embassy, allowing the people to assert their voice and launch a popular revolution to end that tutelage and declare the birth of a new independent Yemen.
Al-Aidaroos highlighted that the sacrifices and roles undertaken by the Yemeni people in the revolution will be immortalized in history for safeguarding national unity, sovereignty, independent decision-making, and rejecting all forms of subordination, injustice, and global arrogance.
He commended the qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces as a legitimate response to the Zionist entity's aggression against Yemen's national resources and for supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, who face the most heinous crimes of extermination by the Israelis under a green light from the United States.
The Shura Council chairman reaffirmed the council's full support for all decisions of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Armed Forces in executing deterrent operations against the Zionist entity, which continues to violate Yemen's sovereignty and commit crimes against the Yemeni people, including recent attacks targeting the Government of Change and Reconstruction, journalists, citizens, and civil and service institutions.
He expressed confidence in the wisdom of the leadership and its directives, which guide the preparation of strategies to deter the Zionist enemy and meet the aspirations of the free people of the nation, noting that Yemen's principled and steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian cause is a source of pride and honor for every free person worldwide.
The Shura chairman concluded with a prayer to Almighty God for the return of this national occasion, wishing victory for both the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples over the enemies of the homeland and the nation, while invoking mercy upon the souls of martyrs who fell defending the homeland and championing the causes of the nation in the path of the promised conquest and the sacred struggle.
