Meeting of Technical Committees on Integration and Organizational Structures Held in Sana’a

Sana'a: A meeting of the sectoral technical committees on the integration and updating of the organizational structures of public service units was held today in Sana'a, chaired by Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development, and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Integration Committee, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Anas Sufyan, reviewed a number of issues, foremost among them the report on the progress made in preparing the bylaws and organizational structures of the ministries and units included in the integration process. It also discussed the subsequent executive procedures arising from the integration of ministries whose bylaws have already been approved by the Cabinet, namely the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates; Education and Scientific Research; Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources; Transport; and Public Works.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Hawali stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to complete the remaining bylaws and structures for the other ministries, authorities, and public institutions, in line with the methodology and work mechanism adopted by the leadership. He emphasized that the integration and updating of organizational structures is one of the government's top priorities, contributing to the building of state institutions on modern foundations and scientific standards.

The Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development reaffirmed commitment to following the path of the martyrs and continuing the course of institutional building and modernization despite major challenges. For his part, the Deputy Minister of Civil Service presented a review of the main achievements and outstanding tasks, along with ways to accelerate performance and progress. This encompasses all aspects of integration and modernization of the targeted organizational units-administrative, financial, legal, and information systems/technology-so as to achieve the ultimate goal of comprehensive structural change and enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the public service units.
