Beirut: The Shura Council strongly condemned on Tuesday the assassination of Lebanese resistance commander Haitham al-Tabtabai in Beirut's southern suburb, holding the Israeli enemy entity fully responsible for the escalation and for violating Lebanon's sovereignty and international law.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Council praised the martyr's role in resisting Israeli aggression and affirmed its support for Lebanon's right to defend itself and continue its resistance. It also called on the international community to condemn Israel's enemy crimes.
The Council extended its condolences to the Lebanese resistance leadership, the Lebanese people, and the families of the martyrs.
