Sana'a: The Shura Council has mourned the passing of its member Saleh bin Ali bin Thabit al-Nahdi, who died at the age of 85 after a lifetime of public service.
According to Yemen News Agency, the council praised Saleh bin Ali bin Thabit al-Nahdi as a prominent national and tribal figure who combined his parliamentary role with his standing as a respected tribal leader in Hadramout. The council highlighted his contributions to social cohesion and dispute resolution, describing him as a voice of wisdom and moderation within the Council and in broader society.
The council expressed condolences to his family, tribe, and the Yemeni people, noting that his passing represents a significant loss to both the legislative institution and the tribal community.
