Shura Council Mourns Passing of Member Major General Hussein Al-Maswari

Sana'a: Shura council mourned on Wednesday the passing of its member, Major General Hussein Mohammed al-Maswari, who died at the age of 84, after a long career during which he held a number of administrative, military, and diplomatic positions.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Shura Council praised the national contributions of the late al-Maswari, who was among the dedicated individuals who served in the administrative and diplomatic corps and within the Shura Council.

The statement highlighted key milestones in al-Maswari's career, including his service as Chief of the General Staff, his leadership of the Capital Governorate, and his role as an ambassador representing Yemen in several countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, before his appointment to the Shura Council.

The Shura Council expressed its deepest condolences to the sons of the deceased, Muhammad and Abdullah, and to the entire Al-Masouri family, praying to God Almighty to grant him His mercy, admit him to Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
