Sanaa:Shura Council Secretary-General Ali Abdul-Mughni, along with several staff members from the council, visited the graves of prominent Yemeni figures on Tuesday. The visit honored former President Saleh Al-Sammad, former Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi and his companions, as well as Major General Mohammed Abdul-Karim Al-Ghumari.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the delegation recited Al-Fatiha for the deceased and commended their sacrifices in defending Yemen's sovereignty and independence.
Abdul-Mughni highlighted the importance of the annual visit as an opportunity to learn from the martyrs' dedication, steadfastness, and resilience. The delegation also toured the Al-Sammad Martyr Exhibition, which showcases photographs and displays that document Al-Sammad's life and contributions.
