Amran: The Speaker of the Shura Council, Muhammad Hussein Al-Aidrous, sent a telegram of condolence on the death of the religious and social authority - Chairman of the Committee for Reconciliation in the Valley, Desert, and Hadhramaut Governorate, Habib Hassan bin Ahmed Al-Sheikh Abi Bakr, who passed away at the age of 83, having devoted most of his life to serving religion, promoting the values of tolerance and moderation.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the telegram sent to Habib Omar bin Muhammad bin Hafidh, the son of the deceased "Ali," his siblings, and the Al-Sheikh Abi Bakr family, the Speaker of the Shura Council praised the late scholar for his virtuous character and humility, emphasizing that the nation has lost a prominent religious and social authority, as well as a guiding light in religious and social work.
He noted that the deceased represented a continuation of the path of his righteous predecessors in preserving the spiritual and social heritage of the authentic Hadhrami school, recalling his pivotal role in strengthening community bonds and spreading values of goodness and love, not only in Hadhramaut but also across East Asia, Africa, and the wider Islamic world.
The Shura Council Speaker extended his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Habib Omar bin Hafidh, the son and siblings of the deceased, the Al-Sheikh Abi Bakr family, the Hadhrami community at home, abroad, and all followers of the Hadhrami school, praying that God Almighty grant him vast mercy, forgiveness, place him in His spacious paradise, and grant his family, relatives, loved ones patience and solace.
