Shura Speaker Congratulates Revolution Leader, President on 63rd Anniversary of September 26 Revolution

General

Sana'a: Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Al-Aidaroos, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the immortal September 26 Revolution. The Speaker of the Shura Council, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Presidency, members, and General Secretariat, expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Leader of the Revolution, the President and members of the Supreme Political Council, the heads of the House of Representatives, the Council of Ministers, and the judiciary, the leaders of the military and security institutions, and all the Yemeni people on this national occasion.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Aidaroos emphasized that the September 26 and September 21 revolutions represented a historic turning point in the Yemeni people's journey toward freedom and sovereignty, as they overthrew eras of tyranny and guardianship and opened new horizons for building a free and independent Yemen. He pointed out that this blessed revolution is renewed today in the conscience of the Yemeni people as they wage their great battle against aggression and siege, embodying the revolution's principles of liberation and defense of independent national decision-making.

He further noted that this anniversary comes as the Yemeni people reap the fruits of the blessed revolution, foremost among which is the building of a strong national army, which has proven its presence in the fields of defending sovereignty, achieving qualitative achievements in the field of military manufacturing, and effectively confronting American and Zionist aggression and threats, as well as forces hostile to the revolution. The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the qualitative operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of the Palestinian people, the most recent of which was the targeting of two vital targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine.

Al-Aidaroos noted that the September 26 Revolution is more deeply rooted in the Yemeni conscience and national memory than ever before, contrary to the propaganda of some discordant voices emanating from abroad who are attempting to undermine the will of the Yemeni people and target their unity and stability. He emphasized that the client forces, beholden to foreign powers, have worked to empty the goals of the September 26 Revolution of their substance, plundering the nation's wealth, confiscating its resources, and preventing the people from achieving their aspirations for freedom, dignity, and development.

He added that today, after being rejected by the free and honorable Yemeni people, these forces continue to play their destructive role under the banner of the forces of aggression, conspiring against the unity and sovereignty of the country, and even persisting in their dependence, reaching the point of identifying with and cooperating with the Zionist entity in service of agendas hostile to Yemen and the nation. The Speaker of the Shura Council called on the Yemeni people to be vigilant against the conspiracies of the enemy and not to be drawn into suspicious calls aimed at spoiling the atmosphere of celebration of the revolution and disturbing public peace in service of the aggression's projects.

He stressed the importance of strengthening national unity, consolidating popular cohesion, continuing steadfastness in the face of aggression and siege, and steadfastly advancing the process of building the modern Yemeni state. He also called on the revolutionary and political leadership to support its national choices and its continued support for the Palestinian people and their just cause. Al-Aidaroos concluded his message by praying for mercy and eternal life for the nation's martyrs, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and freedom for the prisoners. He asked Allah Almighty to bring this great occasion back to the nation with more victories and achievements for the Yemeni people in various fields.
