Sana'a: The Mobilization Department in Shu'ub district of Sana'a governorate organized a ceremony to honor 50 students from Quranic study circles at Atiyah Mosque in Al-Nasr and Al-Marwan neighborhoods. This event was part of the activities commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, Abdulkafi Al-Shami, Deputy Head of Mobilization in the district, highlighted the community and parental responsibility in encouraging children to participate in Quranic study circles. He noted the vital role these circles play in offering spiritual and intellectual protection amidst the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah.
Al-Shami explained that the honoring ceremony is part of the activities commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zayd, who is seen as a symbol of Islam with a strong connection to the Holy Quran. He also stressed the importance of the Quranic project in enhancing awareness, confronting challenges, and supporting the causes of the Ummah.
Adel Al-Shami, the Directorate's Guidance Officer, reiterated the significance of Quranic study circles in building faith, moral character, and instilling Quranic values. He described the honoring of Quran memorizers as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement to continue their dedication to memorizing and serving the Holy Quran.
