Al-hodeidah: Al-Hodeidah Governorate witnessed today massive popular rallies in 24 squares across the governorate center and its districts, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali (peace be upon them) for the year 1448 AH, and endorsing the Armed Forces Statement in defense of the nation's sovereignty, independence, the restoration of national wealth, and the expulsion of occupiers.
According to Yemen News Agency, the crowds filled the squares of Al-Hodeidah city and the southern, northern, and eastern districts, embodying the spirit of revolution, the level of popular awareness, and the connection to the path of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) and his revolution in confronting injustice and tyranny, while strengthening the state of mobilization and rallying to confront the aggression coalition and the forces of global arrogance.
The rallies in the Al-Hodeidah city square were led by the Governor of the province, Abdullah Atifi, the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bashri, the Deputy Governors Mohammed Halisi, Mohammed Al-Nahari, and Ali Kabari, along with local, executive, military, and security leaders, scholars, and social figures.
Participants raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, banners of pride, revolutionary slogans, and declarations of disavowal from the enemies of God. They affirmed their commitment to following Imam Zaid's path in confronting oppressors, adhering to their faith identity, and rejecting projects of hegemony and global arrogance. They renewed their pledge of allegiance to the beacons of guidance and the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussein bin Ali (peace be upon them).
They declared their state of alert and high readiness to translate the directives of the Revolution Leader, to move extensively towards the fronts in preparation for reclaiming legitimate rights, liberating the homeland, and restoring its wealth. They affirmed that the language of force is sufficient to restore the rights of the Yemeni people, and that the tribes of Tihama are ready to support the armed forces with everything precious and dear, as an extension of their honorable national role throughout various stages of defending the homeland.
They emphasized that the popular mobilization flowing from various areas of the Red Sea's guard will engage with determination and valor in the decisive battle, stressing that the western coast will be the inferno that consumes the hordes of enemies and their mercenaries, and that the sacrifices and steadfastness of the Yemeni people over the past years will not be subject to bargaining or negligence.
The people of Al-Hodeidah made clear that betting on starving the Yemeni people to force concessions has proven a failure against the awareness and cohesion of Yemenis. They warned the Saudi regime against continuing to plunder national wealth and the revenues of oil and gas, affirming that resorting to targeting citizens' livelihoods reflects the failure of the aggression and its tools on the ground.
They stressed that betting on economic pressures and targeting citizens' livelihoods shatters against the solidity of the Yemeni will. They declared full response to the Revolution Leader's call at the advent of the new Hijri year, by opening military training and qualification centers to the people of the districts, engaging in training camps, and raising combat readiness.
They renewed their steadfast stance against the Zionist entity and the US administration, affirming their commitment to strengthening the principle of the unity of arenas and shared destiny within the Axis of Jihad and Resistance. They blessed the strategic steps to break the siege imposed on Sana'a International Airport, praising the supportive stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran, leadership and people.
The crowds called for vigilance and continuous readiness to confront any escalation or hostile movements, affirming that the people and tribes of Al-Hodeidah are committed to strengthening cohesion and closing ranks, enhancing the resilience of the internal front against conspiracies targeting the homeland.
Participants considered that following Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) serves as a unifying factor for the nation and a carrier of the project to revive true Islam, calling for enjoining good and forbidding evil in confronting deviations.
They explained that the revolutionary stances of the descendants of the Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) remain present in the nation's conscience, and that Yemen today embodies this path through its steadfastness, resilience, and support for the nation's causes, foremost the Palestinian cause. They affirmed that the Yemeni stance is based on deeply rooted values drawn from the path of Imam Zaid and the Household of the Prophet (peace be upon them).
The people of Tihama pointed out that Yemen, with its leadership, army, and people, is today setting the highest example of steadfastness and support, confronting aggression and siege for more than 11 years. They noted that the massive turnout to commemorate Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) reflects a renewed awareness and serves as a motivation to continue the path of liberation and restore the nation's dignity.
They considered the commemoration as a station to consolidate the concepts of jihad for the sake of God with insight, affirming that Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) did not rise out of vanity, status, or power, but rather for reform in the nation of his grandfather (peace be upon him and his family), in a reformist project to awaken the nation, and that every cry of truth against the arrogant is an extension of his eternal cry: "By God, the Book of God does not command me to remain silent."
The people of Al-Hodeidah noted that the coincidence of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) with the continued stances of steadfastness and general mobilization embodies the revolutionary spirit of the Yemeni people. They called on the tribes and free people of Yemen to unite ranks, continue mobilization, and support the armed forces until every inch of the homeland is liberated, its sovereign capabilities are restored, and victory is achieved.
