Shu'ub: Residents of the Hamidah and Ras al-Sha'b neighborhoods in Al-Mara'un and Al-Yarmouk neighborhoods in Sa'wan, all within Shu'ub district of the Capital Secretariat, organized two cultural evenings to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events saw significant official and popular attendance, including the neighborhood groom Hamidan Atiyah. The venues were decorated with banners bearing Muhammadan slogans, the Palestinian flag, images of leaders and martyrs from the resistance axis, and green lights symbolizing love and loyalty to the Prophet and a deep commitment to supporting Gaza and the Palestinian people.
Speeches and various program segments expressed the pride and strong connection of Shu'ub's residents with their noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, emphasizing following his path in confronting the enemies of the Islamic nation and supporting religion and the oppressed.
The evenings featured local and executive leadership, tribal elders, social figures, and crowds from the neighborhoods, with cultural performances, speeches, chants, poetry, and traditional folk dances.
