Sinai Team Crowned Champion of Al-Hubaishi Ramadan Football Tournament in Hodeidah

Hodeidah: The Sinai team was crowned champion of the second edition of the Al-Hubaishi Foundation Ramadan Football Tournament in Hodeidah Governorate for the year 1447 AH, organized by the branch of the Sports for All Federation under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office and with support from the Al-Hubaishi Commercial Foundation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Sinai team's coronation as champion of the tournament, in which 16 teams participated in a knockout system, came after its victory in the final match that brought it together today with its competitor, the Al-Qadisiyah team, at the Al-Alfi Stadium, in a penalty shootout with a score of three goals to one, after the original match time ended in a goalless draw.

Following the match, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the governorate, Emad Al-Barai, and the representative of the Al-Hubaishi Commercial Foundation, Khaldoun Al-Kuri, honored the Sinai team with the championship cup, gold medals, and a cash prize, and honored the Al-Qadisiyah team with the runner-up cup, silver medals, and a cash prize.

The outstanding players in the tournament were also honored, where Al-Maseera team player Marwan Al-Ramadi received the tournament's top scorer award, while Sinai team player "Abu Humaid" received the best player award, in addition to honoring the entities and committees that contributed to the success of the tournament.
