Sana'a: The Yemeni Council for Medical and Health Specialties, affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Environment, on Wednesday celebrated the graduation of the sixth batch of Master's degree holders in Health Administration, totaling 128 graduates. Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban congratulated the graduates, coinciding with the Prophet's Birth Anniversary, urging them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies to improve health sector management.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Shaiban described the graduation as a qualitative addition to the field of health administration and quality control, stressing that effective management is key to advancing medical services and institutional performance amid current challenges. He praised the efforts of the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties in expanding training programs, highlighting the need for more qualified cadres in health administration despite Yemen's recognized medical expertise at the Arab level.
Assistant Secretary-General of the Council, Dr. Muti' Abu Urayj, underlined that the Health Administration program occupies a strategic position among the Council's specialties, preparing future leaders capable of overseeing healthcare systems and managing financial and human resources.
Speakers, including program coordinator Dr. Ahmed Sand and head of the preparatory committee Mohammed al-Battahi, reviewed the efforts made to ensure the success of the event, emphasizing that the graduation reflects years of dedication, research, and training aimed at improving the quality of healthcare services.
